In this book, we discover what the separate Chakras in the body are called and what they do. We will also be discussing how to activate that area of energy in the body when you feel that you need more balance in your life.
Many books have been written on the purpose of the Chakras that make the whole issue complex when in fact simple application is a better approach for the beginner.
The point of healing the chakras is to restore the energy flow and when the energy flow is in sync, the feeling of completeness and happiness follows. There are physical as well as mental benefits to the aligning of the chakras as we will explain further into the book but if you are suffering, then the chances are that you can improve your situation by making sure that the chakras are open and exercising on the areas that you feel may be blocked.
Until about 20 years ago, I was like you – brought up in the Western world and looking for solutions to life’s problems. When I found Buddhism, I was happy that there were solutions to help me to become a more complete person and knowing about chakras has helped me to bring an abundance of positive energy into my life that was not otherwise there. It is this that drives me to writing this book so that newcomers to this train of thinking can also benefit in the same way that I did. It is life changing.
It’s quite important that you get your priorities right in life. You know that anyway, but there are ways that you can improve your lifestyle to maximize the benefit that you reap from your chakras. For example, do you eat a varied diet? Do you respect your posture? Do you get enough sleep? What about relaxation? Are you able to incorporate relaxation into your life? For the chakras to be fully open, you need to have a lifestyle that is healthy and that encompasses a reasonable amount of exercise as well. Your breathing is important and there are certain breathing exercises that you are taught when you become accustomed to the Buddhist philosophy that I have noticed that people in the modern day don’t respect. For example, how often do you try deep breathing?
